Recce Squad Ends Five Day Turkana Siege In 20 Minutes

For nearly five days now,about 300 armed bandits have held about 900 residents and three police stations hostage. The police reinforcement have been overwhelmed and yesterday a police helicopter hoovering was nearly blown up by the bandits.

Monday morning a group of 40 highly trained commandos from the Recce Squad landed in the area and in their style of work and theme of finishing the biggest workload in the shortest time,brought the siege to an end by neutralising the enemies and freeing villagers to safety as well as the officers held captive.

According to reports,15 GSU officers,10 APs and 15 Anti Stock Theft Officers were held hostage.

This swift rescue by now the mighty recce squad comes only few Weeks after they ended yet another hostage situation in Lavington where they neutralised the thugs within minutes.

Recce Squad broke into the public limelight during the Westgate siege where its imminent that they made huge impact and rescued many and were near to the end of the mission when the military came in to take over and according to several analysts,that's where all things went wrong.
